And I thought I had a lot of CDs... Those boxes are NOTHING compared to all the damn paper I own. And I'm not talking Benjamins here - it's all the TWS, Stance, Big Brother, Slap, Thrasher, Monster and whatnot-magazines that have piled together to form a logistic nightmare. The Monster SKATEBOARD Magazine alone clocks in at 250 copies - at least. Having worked for them for nine years, I felt like I had to have at least two copies of each issue I had the honor to work on. So, while the actual MSM Staff lurks around in the office putting together issue 200 (while I write this), I am trying to move a giant bunch of magazines and comic books. Putting them in one box is out of the question, because a) there are just way too many and they'd never fit and b) if I could put them in one box, this box would collapse, because paper is way heavier than you think. I could use some Arnold right here. Or something to beam them away with.

Went to the hospital this morning to have a talk with the doctors about the surgery on monday. Doc Robert, who did a pretty good job with my elbow, is seriously ill and will remain so for a couple of weeks, so I'm stuck with another doctor that'll puzzle around on that joint of mine. This doesn't help me at all. The only good thing is: I am facing at least two weeks without any kind of hassle. No more boxes, just lying around all day, being fed and enjoying the world's finest painkillers. Those really made my days the last time I was in that hospital - happy cocktails indeed.

Wanna catch a glimpse of what my CD-collection had to offer? My gf Jo has started to put them on eBay: http://members.ebay.de/aboutme/customgirl/ is the address. And, just in case you are wondering, NO, they never were a real part of my collection, otherwise they wouldn't be on eBay, now would they? There are a couple of bargains in there, go take a look. Nothing much to read here anymore, anyway. Gotta go and find a way to make a ton of paper portable - I couldn't throw the mags away to save my life.

Later!

Two big boxes filled with shoes.

Five big boxes filled with (skate-)videos and books (I'm talking 60 lbs./30kg per box).

One big box filled with random shiznit.

One big box filled with fotos (slides and prints) - unsorted, dirty, a real mess.

Three big cases filled with vinyl.

One big box filled with roughly 1.000 CDs. (Not included: roughly 200 CDs that'll make a career on eBay.)

An uncountable amount of plain THRASH, DIRT and RUBBISH (two huge bags), mainly paper, but there's tons of old cassettes in there, too.

What do you mean: "What's happening"?? I'm moving! I am moving all my stuff into my gf's basement, and I didn't know (or I forgot) that I own so much useless shit. Where it all came from? Gee, I have no clue. I do know, however, that I'm not done yet, and that the hauling continues. Tomorrow is kind of a day off though, there's some kind of Live-TV broadcasting going on in Muenster where I'm supposed to host ... No one really knows what that's all about, but there'll be Skateboarding, live music and graffiti. Four hours of fine culture.

One more thing: I love to read, but I got really mad at myself for reading the other day. Germany has a magazine called "Blond", it's comparable to TransWorld's "Stance" ... Uhm ... No, it's not. The "Stance"-staff has the roots and knowledge to do what they do, and the folks at "Blond" didn't even know that Gator is in jail - but they planned an article on him anyway. "Blond" featured an article about some guy searching for Leo DiCaprio's grandmother in Oer-Erkenschwick (she lives in germany). He couldn't find her, so it was a six pages article filled with the worst waste of time you can possibly imagine. I felt robbed after I read that one. Another twenty minutes I could have filled with something interesting - like watching paint dry. I'll never touch that magazine again.

Monday: elbow surgery. After recuperating from that one I'll start working on a full-blown website, so stay tuned.

Peace.

Heard a nice description for Bush's actions yesterday:

He and his buddies drove their big-ass SUVs to a service station and filled their tanks up to the rims. Bush Jr. now walks in to kill the service attendant - a pretty damn evil service attendant I must admit: When Bush is done, you will find him behind the counter - selling gas.

Sums it up really nicely.

Busy week coming up.

Ein bisschen Zeit brauche ich noch, bis hier Bilder sind. Erst Wohnung ausräumen und Ellenbogen reparieren.
