Small mistake... The actual date to cross fingers is tomorrow. They'll just check today, surgery is tomorrow. A day at the races.

Sitting around, waiting for the knife to come. Or at least it feels like that. Jumped the sinking t-offline-boat and took my benjamins to 1und1. Time for a short comparison...

- With T-Offline, I waited six to eight weeks, until they finally sent me my confirmation and data. With 1und1, it took three days.
- I was never able to properly lock onto the T-Offline website. No problems whatsoever with 1und1.
- The hotline at T-Offline tried to convince me several times that the bug was in my system, not theirs, which was simply wrong. In the end, they often closed with "I can't help you there, I'm sorry." Efficient, no? The guy at 1und1 was friendly and he knew what he was talking about.

So, the digital move is on as well. Keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow - gotta be there at 7.30am... Yawn...

It's a little later now, and we're proud owners of an AirPort Base - no more wires needed, thank you very much. Along with that came Jo's new iBook, and now we're sitting in the living room, online like a motherfucker, and stoked as hell. Wireless communication - there's nothing better.

No keys for us, but somewhere in between a quarter and a third of the stuff we have to move, has moved. Not to Hamburg, but somewhere else, and most of it wasn't my stuff anyway, so... Good it's out of the way. The rest will have to wait until after the surgery and a couple of days off. I don't really think about the surgery itself - I look forward to a couple of days in bed and no obligations. The painkiller-cocktails in Bielefeld two years ago were great as well... Made me pretty happy. I wonder if they have those in Bochum as well? Wednesday is the day, keep your fingers crossed.

Thanks a lot to everybody who helped today. See you next week to everybody else.
