Binge?

Went to see Henning Venske perform his "Jahresschauer" yesterday and enjoyed it a lot. There's nothing like a good, political cabaret. Sets your eyes straight. Of course Sönke, Jo, and I had a couple of beers there and later, when we went to a bar we wanted to check out, we were already a little hammered. At the bar (the "Realto") we met Jan H., an old friend of mine. Jan happens to be barkeeper there, and he kept us entertained and our glasses filled until the bill hit almost 80 Euros... I guess we were lucky to be very drunk by then, because it only took one more cuba libre at home, and then it was "lights out", otherwise the night could have gotten really expensive. Once again, it was past 7am when we went to sleep, and I feel like doing almost the same thing again tonight. We'll see...

Wow!

We did it. And we survived. I've never had a party this relaxed.

A little late on my side, but Curse was in time for X-mas: Here, you'll find a complete 6-Track-EP for free. Thanks Curse!

Back to relaxing...

Between The Years (HAPPY BIRTHDAY KLAUS)

Just realized that my father was around my age when I was born. If there's one thing I couldn't imagine right now it would be having a kid on purpose. I mean, the phantasy of having a little Luther running around is nice, but seriously... No. I'm still wondering how I manage to keep Jo and myself alive, I'm certainly not able to feed a third mouth. One and a half are enough for now. Damn. Damn? Damn, I don't know.

This was just one of the thoughts I had during the last couple of days. There wasn't much time to think though, most parts of the last few days were spent eating or sleeping. Jo's mother is an awesome cook, that's for sure... Thanks a lot for all these amazing meals!!

Today, we're going back to Hamburg. Tomorrow we have to return the Jaguar (sigh) and we have to prepare the big room for our little New Year's Eve happening. We're expecting seven guests, and we'll have Raclette. Yummy.

I'll put some more lines down later... Maybe it'll be 2004 by then, but I'm not sure yet. Just to be on the safe side of the party: Happy 2004 everybody. Don't drink and drive, or drink too much anyway. Had to carry Jo home the other day and I can't say that I found it to be funny. Okay, maybe the first five minutes. I, like, totally stopped laughing though when she fell and hit her head really bad for the second time in one week (the first time being a knock-out bicycle-slammer). Now I'm wondering if she'll ever get rid of her headaches again. I certainly hope so.

Cheers!
