I'm in Muenster, at the Titus Girls competition. It's good. Relaxed. Less riders than last year though.
Nick's Volvo is HELL when it comes to acceleration. Faster than every car I've been in yet.

Muelhausen/Thueringen is so small, you could almost say it's not there. And I've only been in Hamburg for a little more than two weeks, but I want to move to Muelhausen now. Why? Because they have an indoor skatepark that feels like a fucking flying carpet. There's not one single rough transition - the ramps "grow" out of the wooden floor, they pop like mad, and there's no pushing required, even though the place is huge. Featured in this park are the ramps from 2002's Monster Mastership in Dortmund, and the guys at Woodworx.de set them up just perfect. The vertramp is a dream too - it's almost 14 feet high, and wider than your mother's panties. Needless to say, the Brettkampf final this weekend was the bomb. Max Beinhofer took 1000 Euros for the first place, leaving veterans like Tobi Albert far behind, and stoking everybody in the process. He missed his train home, because Goofy spent ages printing out nifty checks for the winners, so Max won a shotgun-ride in my rental E 240 to Goettingen Hauptbahnhof as well, and caught his train there. After I dropped Max, Thomas Lengenfelder, and their buddy at the station, I headed straight north, back to Hamburg. Whenever possible I floored my 200 HP, 2.5 L vehicle, and I have to say that I never felt that comfortable doing 230 km/h. The navigation-system rocked, too - detailed bigscreen-map. Without it, I would have never found Muelhausen. I'd never buy that car though - too heavy, too expensive, too high the amount of fuel that's needed. That BMW 320d I got a couple of weeks ago when I went out to shoot pics with Patrick Streiter would still be a better choice, even though I'm not a big fan of BMW. The new Audi A3 looks nice, too. Um... Oh. Why that big Mercedes? Weekend-Special from Sixt to members of the ADAC. Could have been a completely different car (example was the MG ZT - I have no idea what that one looks like). I've had a few Benzes in the last months, so I'm always happy if they give me a different kind of car. Plus, Mercedes seats fuck up my back every time. Same with Opel and Ford. Anyway, sometimes it really pays, this ADAC-thingy, and I highly recommend it. End of blah.
Thanks a lot to Goofy Schubert, Danny Engel and everybody else involved in those Brettkampf series. I hope you guys do that again next year!
This upcoming weekend features the girl's comp in Muenster, after that it's finally a really FREE weekend, and then... Dresden! October 3rd to 5th. That'll be a good one, I hear the skatepark rocks. It's back to Muelhausen in november - COS Finals. Oh my god... So good. SO good.
