This might be it. The place we looked at today is beautiful, bright, huge (4 rooms, bath, kitchen, two balconies, wooden floor, etc.), it's in the middle of an area called the "Schanze", and - most importantly - it's affordable. It's perfect. The only downside to it is that there are 30 other persons who think exactly the same. We have to be very lucky now.

As I write this, I am waiting for the third phone-swap. I'm really curious whether my new phone will be intact this time. And if it features any new data of former owners - criminal, confidential notes, jotted down by some random politician, would be really appreciated.

No Hamburg for me this weekend. I'll return to Muenster tomorrow and continue the quest on monday or tuesday.

The Titus Team is now proud owner of their very own pro-models. Herzlichen Glueckwunsch!

The second swap was a complete success. I am now the proud owner of another broken 9210i (clock not working, keypad outside not working), plus I got all the contacts, faxes, memos, emails and whatnots from the former owner - some Mr. Neumann from Bavaria. Actually, being the nice person that I am, I erased all of Neumann's data. But it does indeed look like T-Mobile has a little problem with data security right there. Next phone is due today (wednesday) - I just hope the delivery-guy manages to be here before noon, because I have lofts to look at. Checked out one today, but that one wasn't for us - offices only and nice, but somehow the design was way too cold. I wouldn't have taken it if I was actually looking for office-space.

Katrin, the actual inhabitant of the flat I'm staying at right now, returns from Italy on friday. I'll move my stuff into another place - Jan Graeber, former volunteer at Monster Magazine, is away for the weekend and offered me his place as an alternative. For this I am very thankful.

Well it's late, and tomorrow will be a long day, so nighty-night.

If you have seen the Patrick Eling "Cobra" Pro-Model from Cleptomanicx, you might want to run out today and get one, because they won't be around forever. Gossip says The Cobra and Benni Dittrich will recieve Pro-Models from Santa Cruz Skateboards this year. Looks like The Cobra has set his mind to a couple of things, one of which will be turning Pro this year and not having to work on construction sites anymore. His goals last year involved being part of every Final and he accomplished that, this year he says he wants to win every competition he enters - unusual sounds are those, but if you are familiar with Patrick's skating, you certainly know that he is very capable of doing so. It didn't work in Essen, but who cares, anyway? Patrick is one of my favourite Rippers out there, and I hope these plans will work out for him - and Benni of course, Benni is about as amazing as Patrick.

The weather in hamburg is beautiful and I've been cruising around town with Jo, collecting phone-numbers of folks that have Lofts for rent. Today I have to stay at home though, because I get another new phone. The outer display of my 9210i was broken, so I had T-Mobile replace the phone last week, and they brought a phone with a broken display as well. Now I'm waiting for the second swap. Luckily I don't have to pay shit, there's still guarantee on it. So, no, I wasn't in Copenhagen, but I hear the weather up there wasn't too good anyway. Hamburg has something close to summer these days, so we went and strolled the zoo instead. I want to go out and shoot pictures really bad.

The flat I'm staying in right now is located in St. Pauli, Hamburgs red-light district. Whenever I look out of the window there's something going on and more often than not there are police cars in sight. Hamburg rules...
