It doesn't get more commercial than this, so we can be happy we finally reached that point. From here, Skateboarding can only go downhill and shrink itself healthy. Tony will still be there though, because he earned it. Next book, please.
Nothing new, really. Titus sent me an SMS three weeks ago asking what we'd be able to move together, so I replied with a mail that should have moved him for sure - I explained my perspective on his company and what I think is wrong with it today. He actually liked that one, so now we're kind of communicating. I'm curious whether he will really call again. But one thing is for sure - before we move something together, he needs to improve the atmosphere within his company.

- New Method Man album coming.
- MB 1000 (Hannover): In the studio, putting finishing-touches on their 2nd album.
- Das Bo (Fuenf Sterne Deluxe, Hamburg): Single should be out by the end of December, full album next year. He told me that yesterday, but it doesn't have to be true. He looked surprisingly clean and straight though - almost didn't recognize him.
- Dendemann: Still recording - he's actually in overtime, so he needs to hurry. Check www.dendemann.com for further info, he'll be on tour with Beginner in november. Uuuh, I want to see THAT.
- Samy Deluxe has tons of new stuff ready to drop. I hope this drops soon, because it sounds GOOD.
- If you haven't done it already, go to www.0711hiphop.com NOW and download those three Karibik Frank mp3s ("Du blutest voll", "Zebrastreifen", "Lady In Love"). They are for free, and they are some of the best music ever. I actually like those more than the originals.
- Harris (Spezializtz): "Dirty Harry" will be out by the end of october, and it's a really clubby, dirty, raw, and good piece of work. It includes a german version of "In Da Club", originally by 50 Cent, which is funny as hell. Harris said it's downloadable at www.gbz-imp.de, but when I tried, the server was down due to too much traffic. Try again in november...

Back home in Hamburg. Thanks, Dresden, again, for a very good time.
Harris (Spezializtz) will be in HH for interviews tomorrow and said he'd drop by. That should be fun. Anything else? The gf broke her promise to be on time. Grrr... She works way too much, even though she doesn't have to. I'm restless and bored.
From now on, I'll call "Bahnfahrt" (train ride) "Bahnfuck". If you say it fast enough, it sounds almost the same, so what. On the way back from Dresden there was this funny uncle trying to make a survey - "to better the service" of the DB. How long have I been in Dresden? Where am I going now? What the flying fuck do these questions have to do with the service they provide, e.g. the service-phonenumber, which starts with 0190 (as do expensive sex-lines), which already is unbelievably ... I don't veen have a word for this. It's robbery. That's it! Fuck them. Hm... Okay, I can't really complain, because I didn't pay anyway. Danny gave me his new Netzcard and kept the old one, so now we both ride german trains for free. I couldn't think of a better "Fuck you!" for the Deutsche Bahn. Here, read it again: Fuck you!

Done. The Dresden Fuck You Too Skatecup 2003 is done. It was very nice, some people won, some didn't, and a jolly ol' time was had by all. Really relaxed. Well almost - Tobi Albert (1st place street) will be a daddy. This should happen next weekend, but it could also happen any minute now, so he was was kind of nervous. Didn't keep him from winning the comp though. The crowd was loud, appreciative and stoked, just like it should be. Thanks, again, to Kay Lork and everybody else involved - see you next year, no doubt.
To be fair and honest, I have to give my hotel props for the late breakfast they got me this morning. They have a killer apple-jelly I actually would kill for.
Hot: Folks who can take a good jab to the ego.
Not: Folks who can't. Can't take the jab, can't take a "No.", can't take a look through their camera. Too bad for you. You should get a Mini-DV 3-chip or something... Leave that poor celluloid alone.

The Treff-Hotel in Dresden is a funny place. When I checked in, I asked whether it was possible to log onto the net, but obviously it wasn't. The lady behind the counter made that very clear, and she did so in a rather unfriendly manner. The fun didn't end there. Imagine the joy I felt when I found out that the phoneline was in fact glued to the wall, and that the little pin, which secures the plug inside the phone, had been broken off. So, in order to enjoy one of the newer inventions of mankind, I had to get some help from ancient technologies - matches! Millions of years of evolution, and the one thing that still helps with almost everything is fire. Maseltow. Well, as you can see, it worked. The match now sticks out of the back of the computer and makes sure that I can remove that plug again - it would be too bad if I had to leave my PowerBook in the room, just because I can't detach it anymore. What's not so funny is that the showers were built for dwarfs and that breakfast is only served until 10.30am - on sundays, too. I can't remember the last time I actually witnessed a breakfast that early, especially on a sunday. For me, it would make way more sense, if they started serving at 10.30. Hell, make it 11. 12. I'll be there around 12.30.
